"Guerilla" painting

On the third floor in the Arbutus builidng beside the Elevator

Detail of boy

Detail of Man

Finally done.
I had so much trouble doing this piece. The Cleaning crew erased it twice, so i started it the first time at 10pm and the security guard shuts down the building at 11 but started shutting it down early. The first run I only got the darks down and a few lights. I got in trouble and splited before they took my information down.
When i returned to redo it they had erased my under drawing again and stole some of my paint..
This is the best I could do to finish it, the board was wet or else it would be chess.

Quote and Image. 9 x 12 Hand Typed and Digital

In our Deisgn class we learnt about the Container Corp and how in the 60s they published this book of ads and quotes of great thinkers well as a class we created one on great ideas. Orginally the quote had to deal with social responsiblity. I chose John Mackey owner of Whole Foods.

The Composition needs to change its too flush against the edges.

Drew Young had a show at Kaffe on main and during the show this homeless man had come in asked if it was free and talked to a few poeple and one of the artist for awhile. This was odd to me and interesting how on the streets he wouldnt of been given a second glance but here  he was in this gallery smelling just the same talking to everyone and being treated as a equal. so I got a few friends to renact it, I set up a shoot and decided to paint it.

First i made a Lino cut of a pattern i have created and applied it with acrylic

Have both of them drawn and started painting drew

Drew almost done
